    2011 Can-Am Outlander 800R XT

Stock it weighs 670lbs. The tires and wheels add 130lbs, so I'd guess around 800-825lbs. 10lbs per hp as well.

My tires are Gorilla Silverbacks, fwiw. The 589s look good as well.

Nope, although that was my original plan. I popped the back cover off the tuner to see what kinda protection it had against water. The whole circuit board is encased in epoxy, so I cut a tight fitting hole for the cord to come out under the cases latch and thus far it's working well.

It's got inboard mounted discs front and back, good times for sure! You can see the rear rotor in the last picture I've posted.

Any time I take a new electrical connector off, it gets loaded with dielectric before going back on. All the electronic boxes are water proof already. The most affected thing I've noticed from going in water is the muffler's packing which is a wear item anyways.

It was massively fun, my first time riding with those folks (all from my town). The camera guy, the country sounding girl, the guy I jumped in to help, and one other dude all graduated from high school together. There were near 30 folks in our group I'd say, 550+ acres in that riding park...

Haha as I said on FB where I got those pictures, the bike wasn't in that picture. I was trying to figure out why I kept getting pulled out of the ruts and to the side of the hole as shown in the picture above it.

Here's another clearance shot. And some other shots from today. I was playing and a couple friends had their phone out taking pictures. Later on in the day I did manage to break both right axles, we'll see how good this warranty is!

    2011 Can-Am Outlander 800R XT

Bump steer basically hasn't changed since nothing has moved relative to anything else. Same amount of toe change as it came from the factory. The lift was shock mount spacers. Can-Am's front geometry leaves some to be desired, but I haven't put enough thought into it to decide if what they...

    2011 Can-Am Outlander 800R XT

I sent this picture staight to Scott, but here it is for others. Not crazy about the positive camber, but it doesn't bug me enough to fab a new arm for it. Installed the tuner and factory snorkel kit yesterday. Took the cores out of the exhaust, it sounds pretty wicked now. Started...

More than the Z. I wanna say 16-17 in the front, more in the back. I'll get you a picture.

Added the Looney Tuned Exhaust, ~2" lift, and fender flares. The clutches are also installed, but they're not exactly visible.

    2011 Can-Am Outlander 800R XT

Got the lift, exhaust, and clutches installed Saturday, rode yesterday. Huge difference in abilities, still waiting for my fender flares, snorkels, and tuner to make it in. Gotta tune the clutch, 3400 rpm engagement and 76-7700rpm shift out is a bit wonky! I can confirm it will wheelie with...

    2011 Can-Am Outlander 800R XT

I haven't stood on the rack, but I've sat on the seat and rode wheelies, sure. The exhaust shouldn't be too bad; I currently have the cores installed.

71hp stock, that's not going to add a drastic amount, the norm is 11-15%. However if I decide to big bore it, all the supporting mods are done. The clutching is super adjustable for anything I do now or in the future. The primary is called the Rage VI (6) because it has 6 fingers, 3 per stage...

Still waiting on the tuner and the snorkle kit. Both are enroute and should be here by mid week. This should get me started wrenching this rainy weekend however. STM Primary and Driven with a new belt, LTE dual exhaust, lift kit, and heavy duty tie rods. The Pelican box is for the tuner.

The Outlander has the same hp but only 25% of the weight! :|: I'll use a spring spacer and a bracket lift for clearance. The bracket lift moves the upper shock mount down, giving roughly 2" of lift. Think the lift kit will be here Saturday. Z71 on 33 inch tires:
