Locking brummel using one end of the rope
I have a set of fids, but knitting needles work fine also. If yer gonna buy fids, buy a ‘nesting’ set that has a little tab or hook that grabs the line. Makes this job a bit easier. Also the Brian toss magic splicing wand is awesome! I modified mine with a bicycle wheel quick release lever.- frans
