One thing that needs to be added to this thread is that CF poles will conduct electricity just like an aluminum pole. I was not sure so I looked it up on the web.

I have not had two sections pull apart while in use.

IMO when a pole section starts falling apart it really doesn't owe me anything I got my monies worth out of it. I have some that are ten years and are getting to be a PITA to use but how much cash have they made me.

Sure why not. Might be $$$$ I really like basswood poles.
