Still slow here, and the fact it is the middle of spring makes it just crazy/hard to believe. Winter stunk, but that's winter. Now it is almost as bad and it is spring.

I love stumpgrinding as it combines two faves, excavation and treework. Never done it 30-40 hours per week though, just grinding the stumps I make plus a few others.

Similar to Axman's second to last post, it was a very lean winter but we kept busy for the most part, then things picked up in the early spring making it seem like we might be out of the woods, but now things have gotten slow again. It's pretty hard to believe it's slow in the middle of spring.

I sent a flyer to customers and cut my prices big time and have been quite busy as a result. Happy at the moment to be paying the bills and keeping the guys working.

good call MB. We just got a big screen with HD and it is sweet.. My wife says I never used to watch TV, and now I can't stop watchin it.
