That's so much better, Brian. Why do you think if your truck is clean it's a garage queen? My stuff works daily ;)

"Are you insured.....What kind of truck do you drive?" It's a cute truck, they just don't strike me as having power. I dunno... I wouldn't worry much about the box. My next body will have the boxes attached to it, I'm not sure stuff would bounce around any more than riding down the road.

Dave, is your windshield leaking? They are known to leak in the bottom corners and drip onto electrical parts. We have had a bit of rain last week... Re-sealing typically fixes it.

I think they are all just "OK". If only Toyota made a real truck. I do like the Fords though, I can't get on with IFS in a work truck. Won't have a Dodge, but am adding a GMC "big" truck to the fleet. Disappointed about the name on the grill but it's cherry all around. ;) Previous life...

Nick, Just to save a buck. You can easily get a used truck with a mason dump, and do what I currently am with an aluminum insert. Mason dump are dime a dozen. Or just get a flat bed, and have a bed built into the stake pockets. Will save a ton a money, be customizable, and WORK. I plan on...

12,500 gvw for a 350, maybe a smidge more for the newer ones. Figure 8-9k for a 4x4 w/ a diesel. so say thats only 35-4500lbs for payload. 7-8 yds of chip in theory. I wouldn't go over a 9' bed on a 350, and no more than 5' high box. mines 6' high, tows like a bastard but never said it was...

Never saw that body, Nick. Who make it? What chassis is it going on? How are you going to reach the tools inside that side box? It looks like it's hinged just below the trucks roof, pretty tall! That bodies gotta be a solid $8-10k, No? Sharp setup though!

What sorts of problems do you experience, Brian? I've heard the newer Chevys with the electrical gremlins in the dash boards, speedos stop working, tachs go crazy, etc. Where I worked PT he has an older chevy with your body style. Never noticed any trouble with the electronics, just a lot of...
