Another 10 hrs today. Shit sucks, well the truck sucks. No traction on the new chevy, dumbass never put weight in it during the week. Sure makes for stressful times.
Don't know how people get off on plowing,
Cash is good for now at least.
Yesterday I discovered why Burnham drives around all year with a snow plow at work.
There was dozens of tree up rooted, from the wind/snow load. We got a call while we were out, a spruce uprooted and fell with the tips landing in the garage door. At that point we had another 5 hrs of plowing...
LOL, bad ass huh!
The very corner of the plows are bent from factory so it won't dig into the ground, the cutting edge is a smidge warn from being angled always but won't affect anything.
Damn John,
Your sending that shit up here now. The old Simplicity below is all ready for snow, I got the plow hooked up on her. The mini is on backup under the cover it.
I've got 25ish other driveways to plow for someone else, in a truck though. :|:
I hear that. I'm not interested in running my own rig though. I'd rather be paid the hourly and go to town in someone elses truck. I'm paid well there, so it's all good.
I'm signed up to run a plow truck this winter. Beat assed Chevy 2500hd, whatever, be nice to have the income. Although it'd also be nice if a flake of snow never flew.
It's coming down here now. Suppose to be getting 5-8" today. Looks like I am plowing for my friend who passed father. Unexpected $$, can't complain.
Yuk.
