The guy I use said the same thing as you. Willow and Pine will be tough, as an Oak or Maple grind real easy. Carl's grinders so big I don't think it'd matter if it was concrete or steel.- brendonv

My guy always asks me what kind of tree it is. That will determine the price. We have a group of Beech at the house that the roots are exposed and all grafted. Looks cool as hell.- brendonv
