I saw a interesting method in one of Frei's videos. He choked the single line to the spar with a running bowline and left a long tail on the bowline, long enough to get to the next cut... So he would block off a piece to make the top of the spar even with his TIP, lower down a bit, 5-6 feet...
Thats a good point, I read about somebody wanting to have QD made for the RW with a ring on the top of it to attach to an over the shoulder teather.
It looks like flat webbing to me, like a doubled up bar tacked kinda thing doesnt it?
Dave?
You cannot body thrust in the typical way with a RW... I havent used it but with SRT in its other forms I have always needed an ascender of some sorts, whether it was a Pantin, a hand ascender>foot loop, or a prussick>foot loop; IMO you need "something".
I saw that people on the buzz were using quickdraws for RW tethers.

As far as the two ascenders I think you are talking about a DLRW or double leg rope walker...Check out...
If you are body thrusting on DRT why not just pick up a Pantin and a hand ascender... you could do alot with those and they both have lots of different functions. If you are looking for more than that or SRT check this out...
