I hate them too Squish, but it far from my place to smash it out of distaste! Although I wanted to, the thing was so flimsy you couldnt even 'hop it. Thanks Randy, the GRCS is indispensable! We had a total of 3 ropes on it. The butt was held on a port-a-wrap, the tip was held with the GRCS and...

    Time Lapse Tree Work

Multi angle timelapse view of the removal of a broken 20"? limb from a silver maple that fell on a garage. The worksite was surrounded by one of those plastic fences and the only real access was through the garage or the neighbors yard. <iframe width="420" height="315"...

    Time Lapse Tree Work

Thanks Stephen! I mean if the client wants their tree thinned, who are we to not do it, its not like it was stripped out. I have posted video of me going to hard, and gotten good feedback from that. Feedback I applied and learned from. What I dont get is why everyone goes on and on about not...

    Time Lapse Tree Work

man, i catch shat everytime i post a pruning timelapse. Did you all know I am a heartless, money grubbing butcher? Why do tree trimmers cry about trimming trees. I dont understand everyone on their high horse... does a plumber tell you not to replace the pipes? Who are these people? (not here...

    Time Lapse Tree Work

I was on the phone with AdamP for most of this climb. I hung the phone on speaker from my hardhat and except for a few sweaty face/touchscreen related issues it worked out really well. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/uTGa83miSZY" frameborder="0"...

    Time Lapse Tree Work

I would get sent home if I showed up without one, or at least highly chastised. In truth, I cant imagine not having a handsaw, that sounds a bit off to me, but different strokes for different folks!

    Time Lapse Tree Work

I dont know what to tell ya guys! I just do what I am told... I would say 70% or more of the trees I climb I never even run a chainsaw, much less climb around with one.

    Time Lapse Tree Work

It was 8am on saturday in a rich people neighborhood, we were only trying not to wake people up... It really wasnt a big deal, I could have used the bucket to prune but chose to climb just because of how nice the tree was. If we were behind a bad bid, short on time, or had somewhere to be we...

    Time Lapse Tree Work

Handsaw wasn't a problem. That's SOP for us early morning anyway. Where I live Big Green is a super premium brand. We had over $3k in billage and got it done in 24 man hours over 2 days (portal to portal - dump, travel & admin included)...

    Time Lapse Tree Work

it was a great tree. It was bid well so I left the bucket in the driveway, and then pulled it in to chip. Re the resolution, I agree, the TLC200 gives a 1080p video yet when I zoom it the quality dives. It seems like the zoom quality is not correlated to the whole image quality. :(

    Time Lapse Tree Work

Jack, I like the composition and the mood of the scene! I would be interested in seeing what the zoom/pan quality of the image is from the GoPro.. Using iMovie if you select a clip and choose Crop-zoom or whatever its called - you can do a straight crop or a Ken Burns pan (both features are...
