    Willard, I agree that a well versed operator can make greAt money win a 252. But I'm gonna let you keep that status. I'll take my 7015 all day long. I'll lay plywood out to keep lawn damage down. I'm also competing mainly with tow behinds, so there you go....

    In terms of overhead. I'd say plant health care would be the winner easily. If you already had a pickup then you could have a very profitable phc rig for under 7500. Which if the work was sold you could recoup in a few days.

    Just thinking about your setup, Willard. Brendon is right a mini will have you laughing all the way to the bank. Could you store the grinder where the power wheelbarrow rides?

    Stumping is boring. But if you are in an area where everyone is trying to keep up with the jones. Then it's a good business. Last summer I would grind after regular work hours. I don't like having to clean up the chips. So I sell that service at a premium. Run an ad. Presell a few grand...

    I would say go for it. I have a 7015 grinder. But I have been averaging 330-390 per hour with that machine. I would expect a 38 special would be able to pull 250 per hour easily. The wear on the mini might increase, something to keep in mind.
