    Husky 540 cutting and climbing

I ran a 540 out of a bucket for a bit today and thought it was a good saw. A touch heavy. Good power. LOTS of torque.

Im due for a fresh saw this year. I'll wait it out a bit longer. Wont buy stihl. Good saws, bad dealer support for me.

Buying a piece of shit doesn't help me though. Sticking with what I have that works until they get the kinks worked out is my best bet.

Reg has a repair program for lemon top handles...... I wont crucify Husky over these saws. Stihl has handed out plenty of sub standard garbage in the last few years. I think these saw companies are in a rock and a hard place.

My 200t's were pieces of shit. Cut great. All had problems that varied from not idling, starting, revving up.

Flawlessly. If they could put the efforts that went into making a saw that size so capable into making an 80 some cc model do the same thing I'd fall over with joy. My saw had led to my dealer selling several more. I always have everyone try my saw out. My uncle is a die hard Stihl guy and was...

They aren't noted for being as troublesome as they once were. I run a 2139 for years now with no mercy and have only had to add gas and oil to it....
