    HH 2

Good eye Sean. That is a little tether that I bought about 9 years ago for lanyard adjuster cams to help them swivel. I don't think they make them anymore. I figured it would work as a clip in point for my chest biner in a rope walking setup. It has an eye on either end, loads in the middle...

Oh, on the ring, not on the HH, I get it. Smooth?

No I haven't, did you have to bend the side plates of the fixe? Mine doesn't fit on there.

I don't see how the termination changes the construction or classification of the knot. To me it is a 4, 5, or 6 wrap, 1 braid VT, 'tis all.

I would count where the 2 legs cross in front as a single braid. The way I tie my Valdotain (what I refer to as a French Prusik) the legs do not cross at all. It's tough to explain without pictures. Not looking for an argument, just clarification...

I see, I didn't know the back story. I guess I would just call the HH knot a 6-1 VT, agreed?

It wasn't from a yard sale, I had a buddy who wanted to get rid of it and try something else, I told him to just have both but he was strapped for cash, plus I had been wanting to try one out for years, so I pulled the trigger. So glad I did, this thing is amazing. I actually...

"But you still went the cheap way and bought a used one. Couldn't handle the thought of Paul making a profit from his invention, I guess." Wow, really? I had just been thinking of all the ways I could help spread the word, and sell tons of these for Paul.

Thanks Dave. The main reason that I didn't get one years ago was because I assumed that it would put my hitch much further away from me. There are times with a floating bridge saddle that I can barely reach my hitch when I am turned hard away from the rope, so I assumed that having something...

That's ok, I found it. http://rope-tek.com/hitch-hiker/instructions/ This thing is currently blowing my mind.... Hitch hiker, where have you been all my life....

    HH 2

My HH2 came in yesterday. I've been meaning to get one for quite a while. This may be the best piece of kit I have ever seen! I got mine used, so I'm just wondering if there is a website that has the manual or any written documentation available. Thanks.
