I've had almost zero luck rebuilding those carbs. At least three different times I rebuilt carbs with no success but swapping carbs worked. So now I am more inclined to just buy a new carb. They aren't as expensive as you might think, and a bargain if you allot a dollar value for shop time.

The size and shape look good for a climbing saw. Nice compact design with antivibe handle mounts. Looks like a precurser to the later Echo top handles.

That's cause you've got huge guns and can easily pick up 50-60 lbs with one hand and hold it straight out in front of you for 3 hours straight. I'm a lil guy with less muscle. I notice a huge difference.

Al, my very first chainsaw was an Echo 302s that I bought used from one of my lawn customers. He wanted $40 for it, I borrowed it long enough to go cut down a $50 tree for another customer and then brought him back the money for the saw. :lol:
