    @davidwyby The Echo 2511t comes with a weak bar and chain. The conversion to 1/4" pitch chain, bar, and drum is great. @Nutball is a member here who has gotten good gains on 2511t's, fwiw.

    The sooner you pay off a mortgage, the tremendously less you pay in interest. You can make priciple-only payments on top of your INTERESt-principLE payment. Mortgage insurance may be required unless you have 20% down. Extra money that you'd rather have going to PRINCIPLE.

    Getting a day or two per prospective company as paid, working interviews is smart. You are interviewing them, too.

    Buying the right saws for the job, they earn their keep. 3 saws is a minimum for real work, imo. I started with a 192t and 361. 261 and 461/ 462 would have been way better. The 361 is now powering my capstan, 14 years later. 261 you can get by with a half-wrap. 461 get a full-wrap. Way...
