Skwerl's new chipper and chip truck

I had a little part made for my clutch lever assembly (hand-grip lever at rear for clutch mounted, as usual up front), basically a u-joint. Amazing how much it tightened things up for engaging my clutch. I almost thought something was wrong, first time engaging it. It's great when you invest...

I see. Almost all of my chips have been used for landscape mulch and foot paths. The cows loved to play on the chips, dragging their chins through it, spreading it around, and it was a nice, warm (composting), high and dry spot out of muck. Maybe they liked the higher vantage point, too.

I never sharpen it more than the little chipped out worn sports, not even close to needing extra grinding. Might be having to do with disk versus drum???

IDK if you've owned chippers before, Brian. Those touch-up sharpeners help a lot, IMO. http://www.treestuff.com/store/catalog.asp?category_id=519&item=3478. Clearly, if dull, they need to be ground, but in-between, a little bit goes a long way. I can tell a difference in how well my chuck and...

Regional differences. I like ear muffs to keep my ears warm, and protected (ears and ear drums). It would be cool to see more Florida tree work pics, Brian.
