I've wondered if there is any risk of failure from a spring breaking. I haven't experimented.

It changes the proportions. One setting affects the other, as best I can figure.

RECOMMENDED, not approved ropes. The original prototype almost worked on 9 or 10 mm htp, but crept. I tested with a prussic-over-akimbocorn (unicorn). You all would be proud of me. I figured out how to make a clean face-cut, Possibly a little over 1/3 depth...I had Billy-Bob pull real hard...

First post of the thread shows the original. I flew mine some more today, on a long lanyard. My 11mm HTP was not having it. Is New England Escalator considered access-only, or work-compatible? I have some that I've never climbed on, bought in a package. Any ideas on it?

I don't know if the corner trap will prevent inversion, or just cross loading. I saw the Rock-O with keeper wire. I'll look to improve my connection. With Akimbo 2.0, I suggest build the price of the biner into the product. For an experienced climber, its such a smooth treat!!

I suspect that sit-stand gives more of a sawing effect of the rope on the redirection crotch than rope-walking. More bounce. I'm excited for the Akimbo to come to market. Meanwhile, the tried and true HH keeps on tickin'.

With a Rope Walker, sit-back isn't a concern. With a potential for a TIP to break, toothed ascenders above a hitch, or in place of a hitch could cause rope damage.
