I probably shouldn't have said anything, they don't like plant matters discussed on social media. Plus I don't want to be that loser who gets off shocking people with gory details. I had just heard the news and felt the need to air it here and lash out at celebs in my grief. They (celebs) do...
2 cats that lived in a pumphouse at the plant where I work were killed in an accident yesterday. I know this thread is mostly for famous people but I don't GAS about celebrities and won't shed a tear for any of them. Animals on the other hand...
Sorry for your loss Murph. You say it makes no sense but that's how it looks from the outside. A thriving business and plenty of material possessions don't mean shit when you're crippled by depression/mental health issues.
The lesson is to seek help but most people don't.
I love the scene in Pumping Iron where he rests a 315 lbs bar on his chest because Arnold makes him laugh and then presses it like it was nothing.
If Arnold was my idol when I was a pimply faced teen trying to lift weights, Franco was a very close second . Gained much inspiration from...
You could start asking the nurses you deal with if they know anyone. As a cat lover myself, I know someone will take them once they hear the details of the situation. We can sweeten the deal and offer a few months of food/ litter/shots to whomever adopts them. At the expense of Treehouse...
We rented "The Hitcher " on Beta when we were kids. It was always a favorite. "Hobo With a Shotgun" was good too. I didn't even see the original Bladerunner until last year.

I've often thought what songs I'd like played at my funeral. Although I'm not religious, Jim Reeves has some nice spirituals. Garth Brooks "Last Dance is a good tear jerker also.
My great aunt died in her sleep. As her son was making a 2 day drive home, his dad told him to not stop for too long in case he died before his son arrived. Sure enough he died in his sleep before his son got there and there was a single funeral for both him and his wife.
D.J. Fontana, long time drummer for Elvis died in his sleep at 87.
I'm sure most don't know him from Adam but I grew up listening to Elvis 8- tracks and still enjoy oldies on an almost daily basis.
My brother is taking his dog Behr in today for that short trip into dog heaven. His back leg quit working and what they thought was just a "torn" achilles ended up being a limb ravaged by cancer. I went to say goodbye this morning and couldn't help but well up with some manly tears...
