Oh for sure, I meant it was refreshing to see physical reference material being used and not digital.

Everything fits on my carabiner at #3 but #2,3 end up behind the legs of the tether rendering them useless. This was the only I way could pull everything in line and have something accessible to clip my chestbox to.

Tried to get my hitch tighter to the hiker per Bermy's advice and tried a few variations of what goes where on the Hitchclimber with the RW.

Ignoring the clove hitch canopy tie, would this scenario pass for a redirect? I passed the bight overtop first but thought this looked better.

Some questions about the Hitchclimber when used with the Ropewrench. Middle attachment point to my saddle, top one to my chestbox or bottom for saddle, middle to chest? And if I was to come down drt, is it a different orientation? And finally, would all three points only get used with...

Thanks for all the input! Sounds like the best idea is to have the option available w/o thinking that I'm going to be stranded on every limbwalk if I don't setup a 3 to 1.

Finally, looked up some 3 to 1 techniques and liked these two. There was another good one with a ring and a carabiner but I don't have a ring. Yet.

I got off my wallet and ordered some more tools for my Srt'ing. Can you believe a buck a foot for the rope? Have you ever seen an uglier rope? Man, it's exciting ordering gear!

Finally got outside to use my Hitchhiker and practice more ropewalking. Went up and down half a dozen times. Thanks, yet again Pat. I'm a believer!

I didn't recognize the stopper knots Pat tied but through John's Pdf user manual, I learned it's a Stevedore stopper knot. Learning new things!

Had a much anticipated package arrive today. Excellent! Thanks again to Pat for being so generous. It's frigging cold here, but if I get cabin fever I'll get outside to try it out. Although the picture is deceiving, the yellow cord is a smaller diameter than I've ever had or seen. Is...
