Gary, fersure, if/when I ever buy myself a firearm it will be a lefty, the rifles and shotguns I have used have all been loaners. Except for my pellet guns, which are irrelevant to this issue. :) ps, I shoot left because of an eye issue, I am right handed.

one of my concerns as I shoot left handed and the rifles I have shot are all right discharge, the cartridge goes across in front of my face rather than away from me, as it should in a barrel mishap :(

around here our bears would be gorging fruit and last month tons of salmon, wonder what that would do to the flavour in comparison.

I was going to ask if you were keeping the meat vs just the trophy, good to hear that you are. I had bear sausage a few years ago, definitely tastes of wild meat, a bit gamey but I bet its all in the spices. Not sure how a roast would do, if it was eating lots of berries and such it would likely...
