    never, around here PI is on everything, thick hairy vines up the trunk with 3 foot branches off it. I've sawed my way through with all the dust in my eye's and throat, and never even got got an itch.(I don't where gloves either)

    Shagbark hickory I'd say are one of my favorite and toughest tree's to remove, armor plates that suck to spike into, and when you do they sheer off. branches are bendy and hook like and catch on everything, wood is heavy and holds on for dear life. on the plus side they are usually single stem...
