Guess carbon has come a long way. I looked at it for a second 15 years ago for the Wraptor hub covers. Wasn’t a good application. FYI I can’t imagine riding down steps without a rear tire.... Going down on stone steps = no fun

Carbon just doesn’t seem like a good material for rims. They must be fine or the wouldn’t exist but seems weird using a material that is very prone to impact fractures for that application

I do still use my bike to move the crane around if we are in town. Most of my riding though is after I get done and I hit the MTB trails with the dogs.Been a few weeks though as my back is all jacked up now plus we keep having storms that are really messing up the trails. Im the only one who...

I have a fat tire bike with electric assist and love it. Yes the tires soak up the shocks and also offer awesome traction. Heavy as all get out though.

That was an interesting read Kevin, didn't get through all of it yet. Funnily I rode tonight without a helmet as I wanted to wear my headphones and listen to some tunes. Man what a luxury that was. You typically cant ride with tunes in the woods as you end up ripping your derailleur off, I don't...

I love the lefty, so smooth and lots of travel. Only small issue Ive had is bearing migration but an easy fix. Jay I was no fan of the track, never got comfortable out there. Sure I told you before but I was made to be "canon fodder" in an apres-Tour event and had to ride the American. Of my...

Years ago I was riding the Ghent Ieper classic in Belgium and got a front flat. The team car gave me a wheel change and I was stocked to see it was I believe a vitoria CX sew up which are much less prone to pinch puncturing than the clinchers that I had. Later on in the race I went into a tight...
