BRendon, buy a ScanGauge II or an Ultragauge. I didn't know about the Ultragauge when I bought my SG, they are a lot cheaper. If you want to improve your mileage they are the way to go as you can have 4 real time gauges displayed such as current MPG (which is invaluable) average trip MPG...- PCTREE

I was proud of our Passatt wagon today, recorded my first 60mpg trip;) Mind you I drove like a granny and had a tail wind:lol: At least I can now say it CAN do it. Far cry from the 15mpg our Honda mini van was getting:|:- PCTREE

On the Subaru note, get a 2.2 and stay clear of the 2.5 IMO. Ive owned both.- PCTREE

RD, if you can find one you can afford get a VW TDI. Fun to drive and 40+ MPG. Other than that I would probably go for a honda del sol, they got in the 40s if Im not mistaken, getting old at this point but you should be able to find one cheap..... correction, the delsol gets 34 combined, it was...- PCTREE
