Burnham the blowouts showed within the first hour of use whilst trimming an oak so no hooks or bombing wood. Its just a rope but I sure would like to know what caused it as I can imagine BAD things happening.......

Did a BIG silver maple TD today with the rope I spliced last night that was stored in the same box as the other rope, this one is yellow and white. Absolutely no problems, it still looks like a brand new rope, no "blow outs". I wish I knew what the deal is. Im going to email the ebay guy and see...

I just got done putting a splice in another hank of rope from the same box. I have carefully inspected the rope and there are NO DEFECTS. I will see how it holds up tomorrow. Yes there were some mouse turds in the box:whine:

It wasnt knicked by a saw and as I said Im pretty sure it wasnt damaged before I started this morning. Im wondering if it might be chemical damage to the fibers and once it goes through the hitch it busts loose?? Dunno but Im scared of it since I dunno
