I try to get 93 after I noticed my 2188 would knock a little on 89.

    fair price for 200t?

I wouldn't call a 201t high compression, and 110 octane is way more octane than you need. It could slow the burn rate too much affecting rpm and engine temp and other things the M tronic may use to tune the engine with. I'd stick with 95 max.

    fair price for 200t?

I buy parts online and fix them myself. Same with Husqvarna. For Stihl, if I can't find OEM parts on ebay, then I have to go to the dealer.

    fair price for 200t?

A fair price is whatever it is worth to you. If you feel like you are missing out, and jumping on a $3000 saw is the sure fire way to get a good 200t in your hands, then do so. $3000 can be paid off in a week depending on how you run your business, and the saw should last easily 2 years at least...

    fair price for 200t?

I keep forgetting, I need to see about picking up a new stihl light bar from a not so local local shop, because one we are using is so worn out, you have to wiggle the saw in the cut, so it can find a straight path through without binding. Boss keeps forgetting to get one, but he's not as close...

    fair price for 200t?

I thought I was pretty good at sharpening a saw after 5 years of personal firewood processing, then I thought I was really good at the beginning of this year. Now I know I'm very good, but still not near as perfect as some. I don't even know how to square file a chain.

.050ga non safety chain or .043? Perhaps you meant seasoned professionals? or even experts? I work with a guy who's been doing trees for 20-30yrs or whatever. I and other's with much fewer years of experience seem to do things a lot better than him. He's never even heard of running a chainsaw...

    fair price for 200t?

But, wouldn't you rather a low maintenance saw? I hear the 200t also needs frequent carb rebuilds. What all top handle models have you worked with? Just curious. I can't say I have much experience with a 200t if at all, but I've put some time on 10 different models.

All this reminds me I have a nice 201t in the basement somewhere awaiting a port job, the plan is to try extra compression without loosing transfer port performance. I got it and another off Ebay from pawn shops for around $500 each. Probably one of those deals where a guy gets a job, buys a...

Dyno Joe on youtube does used saws and has a dyno to confirm power gains, and could likely get recipes from other builders he knows. I don't know if anyone makes a high performance aftermarket piston, or of there are any compatible pistons from other saws, but in my opinion, they could perform...

A rear handle "t" I know where a 200t is sitting in a shed, and I know who to send it to for a checkup/rebuild... But it's not mine, but I know the owner...
