Slipped Rappel Anchor Vid
If you are sideways from your tie in and take the "whip" a severe injury could result. If the "whip" would result in not hitting anything I would do it. I think it's bad practice...heck I'd rather hold on to the tail, blow off the munter hitch then worry about the second tie in coming...- No_Bivy

better not trust that if your life or serious injury depends on it. Why not wrap rope around for a cpomplete second tie in? safer:D- No_Bivy
