Welcome oldachonoak!:) The Tachyon works/performs better in the "mechanicals", it has a much firmer core and doesn't flatten out so much. I've got a couple of different Tachyon climb lines (among all my others) and up until recently it's been my favorite to use with my Rope Runner...

HTP static line? :? I can't use it for descending out of the tree. "Easing" myself down works OK, but if I pick up any speed at all on either the Bulldog Bone or the Rope Runner there is nothing I can do with either device to get them to stop. I have to use my "free" hand to belay myself...

I tried the D ring first, but with the rope walker system I have it wasn't as efficient as I would like. I hook the bungee from my knee ascender to a "chest harness" to tend with, the bungee was pulling the 'Bone out of alignment. I corrected it by using a second 'biner from my chest harness to...
