    I think it has found itself as a very popular mainstream tool in the industry. Cracking problems have been sorted, you see plenty of pros using them on the work photos here and on other sites work photo threads. I only use mine on larger stuff and/or technical reductions.     Anyway I've been using one for a week so I'll give you my thoughts. I'm kind of nervous of it whilst descending, as a a prussik/blakes veteran of 20+years I found the ZZ very much off or on. The knot is somehow more "organic" with better feel, and a fistful of blakes is nicer than feeling...

    Well, I just bought one, not really worried about this crack thing. Took it for a rec climb today, will take some getting used to but yeah, I like it. I've never used anything but a blakes/prussik for the 20 years I've been climbing, so it'll be interesting.......
