But I'm not dead yet ... Age and climbing

Stig, if your guy is frustrated enough or in enough pain for motivation to be up at a 10 out of 10 he may do well to look into Somatics and Pain Free. If his challenges are muscle related or nerve pain related (often tied to muscles) those are very doable to have a big effect on. Edit - For...

But I'm not dead yet ... Age and climbing

I would roughly say that Somatics is fantastic for getting out of immediate pain and loosening the muscles which when too tight lead to a host of problems. And I see that result in realignment of the joints to a large degree. To proactively go after joint misalignment that is cronic I would...

That's it, thanks Steve. Their banter etc annoys the heck out of me but I might use the program anyway.

What books or info of Pete's have you read? I read Pain Free, and bits of Pain Free at Your PC. Did 8 training sessions with one of his affiliates. Only reason I got away from using his exercises was for time savings and to do easier movements that accomplish most of what I want to on a day...

But I'm not dead yet ... Age and climbing

I am shy, and, age is not my thing/focus. Not sure why, just isn't. So many things that people think are age dependent, when you look into it, need not be.

But I'm not dead yet ... Age and climbing

:) I have known patriarchs of big tree companies still climbing at 65. If I recall correctly Don Blares father was still climbing two days a week at 82. (When he started they would wear overalls and have a coworker through a bucket of water on the front of them to have more friction when...

I did Egoscue for a lot of years to keep my muscles in working shape. And I will probably go back and do some of his stuff to accomplish some specific improvements with my body. Now I do Somatics by Thomas Hanna. Time invested down from one to one and a half hours per day to the current 10 to...

But I'm not dead yet ... Age and climbing

Just found this thread this AM and don't have time to read it all now - or respond properly. But , much of the worlds people will work hard and do fine right up close to the day of their death. Anyone who wants to and catches their pains and aches a little on the early side can do some simple...
