Welcome to The Tree House Jami. When you say you were employed by the gentleman that crafted this device what is it that you are referring to? Again welcome, Merle.

All RopeKnight - All The Time

I have a lot of Cypress trees that I work which have so much dead matted brush that you could shoot a golf ball up in them and frequently have it not come down. Also Euc trees that have thrived in my area for 150 plus years have been hard hit by freezes and sent out thousands of suckers to get...

All RopeKnight - All The Time

In a sentence or few, what would you like it to do for you? The reason I ask is because I have been amazed that some don't see more in the RK. I'm lazy, end product is what I want most. Job done, happy client, and check. The Rope Knight helps me with that.

All RopeKnight - All The Time

I just thinned a circular group of 12 redwoods. Bigshoted up a hundred feet and the RK flawlessly streamed down through the branches to the ground each time. On the occasions I included the limbs of another tree I just pulled it back up and over the errant parts, little fear of a jam or...

That's fine, thanks. And thank you DMc I will work up carefully and only under appropriately safe conditions. Ha, we have all these amazingly well designed firearms at our disposal in this day and age. I was in a musium in Carson City Nev. looking at a carbine that had a cylinder which...

All RopeKnight - All The Time

Ohh shoot, I didn't even think of it like that. Funny cuzz that's exactly what I'm looking forward to - getting all my gear policed up and just how I want it to be during some down time. Glad I said it in the open then instead of in a PM to Thomas. Whatever, just if it ever does run it's...

All RopeKnight - All The Time

Thomas as we are coming into winter and things are slowing down for some you may find it a natural time to bring the ‘Pass Around’, loaner program of the RopeKnight to a close. If you do, and you have an interest in selling that unit I would like to know. Thanks. Just recently I was fortunate...

Appreciate your sharing your point of view and input to that degree Oldmilltreecare. And this is just how I feel about a product that is intended to help me make more money, work more easily, or even enjoy life more. “I agree with your point and while I don't want to pay over the odds, I will...

All RopeKnight - All The Time

I heard you when you said “I get it” Thomas. Separate from that I would just like to say that my hat is off to Reg too. He went out on a limb and put a bunch of effort into communicating something that 90 some percent of the time one would do well to take to heart in business transactions. I...

All RopeKnight - All The Time

Bag made it through this time (a lot of times they don’t go down through our dense Redwood foliage.) Saw why when I went up the trees. These had been thinned a lot in years past. If you were speaking to me Thomas, yeah I have the vinyl sleeve and foam. Have never taken them to work with me...

All RopeKnight - All The Time

Am removing two groups of redwood trees three trees to a group this week. They are right up close to a house built in a Y or L shape. Have decided that I’m going to shoot a line up into one tree in each group for a progressing speed line to the top. Will also shoot a line to the top of one...

All RopeKnight - All The Time

BigShot it to the upper part of a tall conifer and just let it run to the ground. I set pull lines that way even just for added comfort because it’s so easy.

Anyone good at instructions and want to propose a labor/product trade to an inventor/innovator? I would think of that as one of the great opportunities from this forum...to come in contact with someone great at a skill that is needed but you are weak in. Thomas, I do not have the brass weight...

All RopeKnight - All The Time

The other day I stuck my RopeKnight for the first time in about a hundred shots. I was trying to put one of two lines high in a five foot dia. Euc.. (Crotch turned out to be 100 ft..) When I miss the RK pulls back through limbs so well that I just catch the line mid decent and gently and...

All RopeKnight - All The Time

Eric, if you are thinking “a ton of wobble” affects accuracy you may be surprised. I once watched championship archery shooting clips in slow motion and was amazed at arrows coming off the string and wobbling back and forth what seems to be over a foot or more. Still hit the mark every time.
