    In a million years I'll never believe that to be a good thing for the tree. Those "studies" don't mean squat to me. Lots of studies have been done, that doesn't mean they're correct.

    I caught this thread over at ArbTalk, and I was simply amazed. Has anyone here ever done/seen it done here in the states? I would get fired/run off if I ever did anything like that. Any comments?
