    Battery Powered Chainsaw Test.

When I tested them there was 3. Smallest was about 2kg with cable and straps. Still lots of runtime. Biggest you could run a day with I think.

Pellenc is in a class of its own. Superior in every way. The saws are bulletproof! There is 3 back pack battery's and a lot of tools to use with same back pack. Husqvarna has back pack battery to now.

How much runtime do it see during a day? What is rutine with battery charge?

    Battery Powered Chainsaw Test.

It is a interesting technology, but I fail to see what the gain would be with battery saws today. Unless the battery technology vastly improve so you can run a day on a battery its really not much point to it. Even with back pack battery its still a couple hrs run time... For occasional users I...

They put out 4-5 new battery's since this test. And we tested with prototype of what was to be 3'd battery to these saws.

We got the battery rek for it then a new one was sent here that was a bit bigger, 4,2AH A) Yes and A new one coming out on market. B) Yes. C) I did not notice torqe being more on low setting or cutting times improved much by hi setting. I did not measure rpm, but it did not seem all that much...

I happily answer questions if I can. You have any more? If you start a post and I find it interesting I promise I discuss it with you. I would be thankful for the opportunity to know more and hammer away.. I thought there was more interest in these saws here than this....

I see that now, you have a Stihl. Did you get to try the back pack battery for it?

    Battery Powered Chainsaw Test.

Yes, this is a correct assumption. HVA sent a 439xp, Stihl a 150C for comparison in weight, power etc. These are not less work with to care for. Cutting system need attention, battery system too. They still need to be cleaned and are not much lighter when battery is in them. With exception of...

    Battery Powered Chainsaw Test.

No, not at at all. I just fail to see what you could do with them that you can't do with a gas powered saw. It is a pretty pricey toy to have... If it helps, I can do that... Inte alls! Jag ser bara inte användningsområdet de kan nåt bättre än bensinsåg. Dyr leksak att ha... The distributes...

    Battery Powered Chainsaw Test.

No oiler issues during test this time. I could tell they lube well enough for what they are meant to do. Plenty big oil tanks to run a battery, then you have to abort anyway to switch battery so putting oil in then is likely no problem. Worst thing you can do is run a saw with dull chains...

    Battery Powered Chainsaw Test.

Yes, you can be a troll, that is fine with me. They were run under load, not dry humping. None of the saws without battery pack had run time over 14min. Makita and Husqvarna never past 10. Pellenc ran 20 minutes and had close to 80% left. What you want to know? Already answered. Handling I can...

What do you mean by this? I posted a pic went to bed, wake up to this... Not really inspiring questions about the saws.... You could be right. Perhaps this was not the place for this thread.

    Battery Powered Chainsaw Test.

Pellenc. Without any doubt. I fail to see what the use could be for these with a couple minutes runtime. I am not a big fan of these saws with battery in them. It is not ready yet by a long shot and leave too much to be desiered. As last time I try to be as informative as I can. But without...

I thought I would post this here so you know. Saws tested was: Pellenc C20 Husqvarna 536LIxp Stihl msa 200c-bq Makita DUC 302 z Oregon CS250. The test was to see runtime in wood, tech stuff, handling and possible uses. I did not pick the saws, just tested what I was sent by reporter.
