Yea it keeps me going on this weird swing shift. 7am to 7pm for 4 days, then 4 days off, then 7pm to 7am for 4 nights, then 4 days off. Repeat for about 23 years :cry:
The time off is nice. Mini vacation every week if I don’t take overtime.
Once a month or so I do a 3 day water/ coffee fast. Lots of water and black coffee and a daily multivitamin. That’s it.
Little cranky phase 12-18 hours in, then it feels awesome. Tons of energy and surprisingly good mood. Your mileage may vary.
I’ve never been hip on hauling a cooler around. I’ve been pretty strict on low carbs and zero or low sugar. Nuts and jerky or dried smoked sausage is good, but usually just water and sugar free energy drinks. Maybe a can/ pouch of tuna. Sometimes lunch meat that’s got some preservatives in it...
