O.k. Fi... here ya go. Let's call it 6.51239849 millimeters. Here's a little Shore Pine I cut down today. Not that anyone cares.:cry:

I didn't Fi, because I didn't want any issues (I'm laboring under great ignorance here.) with parameters getting changed-up on the computer. The manual says that (same as Autotune on Husq) you are supposed to make five cuts of similar duration in succession in order to let the computer get to...

The hole is about like the diameter of your average earplug. Man that thing has, like INSTANT throttle response. They just nailed the ignition timing on that pig. I'm really pleased with it. Anybody know the name of a good paint remover?

Just I.P.A. I think I only had two of em, but one was 8.5%. I think the other one was 7%. I'm pretty sure I'm a lightweight. I'll try for a close-up on the hole. You can kinda see it in the one image.

Man, I'll get some hours on it, and then maybe thow up something better, but it's just so very easy. Rich: Yeah... second hole, not just expanding first. Arbworks: Yeah... ya gotta crack the muffler off so that you can blow it out super well when you're done. The muffler is literally held...

Yeah... kinda what I was shooting for. I swear, the blue looks way darker on tree bark.

So I dual ported the muffler on my 201 tcm. Maybe went seven mill. on the hole in Brad Sneller style. Wow does that thing pick up now. I would highly recommend doing it to yours. What I wouldn't recommend is drinking and then painting your saw. I just used Blue Timber Marking Paint, but the...

This is good to hear Rich. Husqvarna really dropped the ball on their electronics... good to hear that Sthil's stuff is looking a darn-sight better at present. I'm still mad at them for my first 201, though.

So Rich, How's the saw so far? We've got a pruner guy who's got one and really likes it, but, to me, that means next to nothing. What do you think of it?

Anybody else had the pleasure of failing electronics?

    Uhh... yeah. :X

 Good retort, and yes the 441c run-time qualifies for the big saws, at least in my book. As Justin (maybe mockingly) suggested, though... I'm pretty doubtfull about the top-handles.

Stig: I'm basing my opinion on experience solely on two different 540t Husq. top-handle saws, which I believe are far more susceptible to idlying issues than timber-cutting saws, since they are subjected, during use, to much more angular alteration, because of the saw's dangling on a lanyard...

But you should be Jim. These electronic carb saws are just absolute trash. Either company makes no difference. Evan: it's good to see you back on here, brother, but... I can tell you: for a Christian, you're going to do an awful lot of cussing that new saw of yours. :(
