    My 540 is still going strong. I feel for you guys that had trouble with yours. Willard, I read somewhere on another forum about you converting your climbing saws to .325 chain. You got some #'s I can have? Really want to try a tsumura 16". Getting tired of going through tech lites.

    Sorry poor choice of words. I mean you have to push the choke switch back off manually.

    I find if it's sat for over 5 minutes I choke it and she starts first pull. You just need to be quick on the choke release and she stays running. Easy pezy

    I tend to leave it idling more than I would like. My work around involves buying a 150 for pruning and leave the 540 for takedowns.

    My saw has to warm up for around 30 seconds or it is a sputtering turd. After that it's off to the races. Good luck squish I hope your dealer makes it right.

    Mine is still kicking butt other than dropping it from above breaking the guard handle and bending my bar on Friday.
