I use Tune in radio app myself. I hate commercials and this is an app for all the community stations in the country, actually world wide. It also has dedicated channels for genre etc. streaming really kills my iPhone battery, but so worth listening to some background music.

Yah Bren, when you tap intercom the music is muted. Talk as you will and push the button again for music.

The only downfall I have seen, is that your groundie may not always be paying attention due to music. I squashed that today with a no music until I hit the ground rule. Safety first. These are awesome comms.
