Yep I'm going to miss that Cummins but that's the only good part of the truck. Light front end, weak transmission, screwy electrical.
Tired of standing in diesel at the pumps tracking it into the vehicle and house. Diesel here is well over a dollar a gallon over gas .
I don't justify...
Yeah I like that 40/20/40 split front bench seat too. Hard to find those in these higher end trucks. Everyone wants the bucket seats and full center console.
I have a family of 5 and there's room for my wife's grandma or one of the kids friends.
I hate to let this one go but I hear GM is...
Mick.
Almost did some impulsive spending the other day.
My wife and I were talking about buying the business a new truck this year as it may be our last new main vehicle for the business and recreation use and tax write off as my 2007 pickup has been paid off for years now.
I found this...
We're speaking 3 different languages here. Maybe some of the Americans can chip in here as they may call them something else that we in Canada call them.
I had a heavy suspension Ford F150 1/2 ton with 7 lug nut wheells that was actually classified as a 5/8 ton.
My Dodge Ram 2500 SLT 4X4 is a...
Yeah maybe you have better collision avoidence on a motorcycle. But raise a family and you come to realize pretty quick your kids safety is worth alot more then your own.
Here in northern Canada we've been paying around $1.50 a litre ($6 a gallon) for years didn't bother us for fuel economy.
Those Titans and Tundras can be ordered with smaller engines and a diesel too I believe.
Lot safer and better ride in a full size pickup truck . Me and my families lives...
Can you guys get the Toyota Tundra or Nisson Titan over in Europe?
Lots of them running around here, comparable to our 1/2 ton pickups like the 1500 Ram Mick was looking at.
V-8 in my neighbors Titan.
Just googled Vw Amarock looks more like a Honda Ridgeline The VW pickup I saw in Mexico now that I think of it looks more like a Toyota Tundra.
So there might be some truth in that Toyota/VW connection Mick.
I had a Ford Courier (Mazda) pickup. The thing ran for years flawlessly until I had to retire it because the body was rusted out so bad.
Brother has a fancy Toyota Camary car same issue after 10 years rusted right out.
Mick you may look into a full size VW pickup looks almost like that black...
Well the non American vehicles notably the Japanese have always rusted out before wearing out and they still do.
Todays North American pickup trucks are better then they ever were before. The new diesels don't smell especially the new Dodge Eco diesels.
Broken frames? Hardly that's history as...
A buddy of mine has one of those Laramie Eco diesels and is really happy with it, even has the air ride suspension that would rival a Citroen hydraulic suspension. Even the Dodges standard rear coil suspension is the best ride of the top 3 half ton's suspensions
When Dodge first built that 1/2...
You could buy a brand new 1500 Laramie here in North America for 40,000 Euros($44,000US)
If your serious the Laramie with the V-6 Eco Diesel would be a good choice if available in Europe.
Best fuel mileage full size pickup in N.A.
5.7 liter Hemi 345 hpV-8 with Torqueflight 8 speed transmission also spells mid life crisis too Mick:D
That pickup looks like it may have the air suspension package.
Nice looking rig, if 4 wheel drive even better for pulling and off roading.
I think you mean propane conversion as we have that here too.
Since Dodge Chrsyler have joined with Fiat they now offer that 1500 Ram with a Fiat diesel engine here in North America. Pricy though.
