Very nice hinge work Cory, looks like ash to me . Right? All I had to today was stumps, some mighty big ones though. From 2 feet of snow a couple days ago to 80F today.

Any further north I'd be in the tundra Sean. Days get longer in June here, up to 22 hours of daylight and the sunset and sunrise merge together.....kinda weird. When I had employees years ago working up here we were putting in 16-18 hour days for 4 days straight. Look like you got your work cut...

Had an interesting job today. Took out 8 - 20 year old Shubert choke cherry with stumps for a local senior citizens housing unit. They no longer wanted to deal with the purple berries being tracked into their building. Last pic you'll notice a lady in white approaching from behind the bus...

Well said Peter, I like that 8) That's my right hand, Husqvarna 562XP with 18" Cannon Super Mini bar with Stihl 23RS .325 chain running on a 7 pin rim. Without my saws I would be a mere individual.:D

Little job I got out of the road this morning for bigger jobs coming up. Felled and cut up small for the homeowner 8 poplars leaning over his garage and up against a 12K or bigger line with a Limits Of Approach of 5 feet. Ivan a Manitoba Hydro linesmen did a disconnect and reconnect of the old...

Crazy way to remove trees. Before I moved into Thompson here a few years back, there was a guy here who had a big crane with a basket hanging off the hook with a man and chainsaw inside........

Thanks Fi, I also have a video of the tree falling from my daughter but we're trying to figure out how to edit it as it's quite long. Today's phone camera capabilities are amazing, so easy to take top quality pics and vids. Also great for taking before and after pics of jobs for references later

My daughter wanted me to post her pics that she took of her big cottonwood I felled for her. 90 feet tall 60 feet wide and 43 inch Dbh . Only 45 years old, laid it between her house and 12K powerline with a space of only 72 feet wide.
