    But if I did have one of them older heavy duty welders from years ago, and had I mastered the art of welding... I'd be able to make a bigger trap to catch bigger animals !!! See Pic. . If only I knew how to weld. LOL .

    Back then, I didn't have any interest in welding. it wasn't till very recently that I had need of some welding and realized it was cost prohibitive to buy all the equipment, welder, and all the other cost just to make something. Don't get me wrong, I would have been nice to have learned but...

    I would look forward to a "Welding Thread" if anyone were to start one. ie- "how to get started into welding" ??? high end - low end equipment, welder choice, stick, mig, tig, costs. etc..

    One thing I'd like to change on the roaster would be its fire basket. Because all the wood charcoal ash tends to fall out the bottom of the basket, it makes a heck of a mess on the ground each time you open the charcoal doors. So I'm thinking of redesigning the baskets to be the same length...

    Was a bit surprised that it came out so light but it had an internal temperature of 179 * both front & back. 170* is all that needed. Does anyone have any good build ideas on how to cook Lamb ???
