Yeah I arranged for the scaffolding to be put up as the wall is new and has no foundations, that's how they build them traditionally, they are very expensive to build and I certainly didn't want anything dropping off and smashing it.

Spent a few days taking out this dead Horse Chestnut, easy really but we took our time as it was a very brittle tree and anyway, we had the time on it so why not.
Stu finished it today, we left it at height to be carved.
Feck sake, why are they sideways???
Good story with this one Stig, I work for a guy who got called out to this tree in 89, it was rocking on it's root plate in the storm, they immediately arranged to take the crown off with a crane as there are about four houses it would have crushed should it have gone over.
So they craned it...
I don't really contract climb much anymore, but I've got this Horse Chestnut coming up for a mate of mine, no access for crane or platfom, cabled up in the past, expensive wall underneath, should be fun.
