I haven't messed with an 090G... but the Homelite 770G I have is pretty friggin' slow... I bet it's not turnin' more than 6,500... Gary- GASoline71

Any saw will be slower with a super long bar. Except for a "G" model. They are slow no matter what size the bar is... ;) Gary- GASoline71

Nope... 066/660's out here in the PNW see bars 42" or bigger all the time. We are cuttin' mainly in the big softwoods... but the saws are not overworked in the least. :) Gary- GASoline71
