Hotwoods ported saws let ya use a more aggressive chain ... You can use a 32* top plate and take the rakers down .003-.006 (.029-.032) from the stock .025(Oregon) , .026(STIHL) ... As long as the saw has the torque to pull the chain you WILL experience quick cut/cut- Frankie
