    I got it Magnus. Alkylate fuel falls from the Heavens in Sweden. Collected in big wooden bowls surrounding your Pagan altar. Its a bit harder to obtain here.

    The rubber parts that are sold now are junk.........plain junk. We blame it on the fuel, because its political. While we were arguing, they made everything cheaper.

    I guess we are talking about two different things. Methanol and Nitro methane are two different things.

    I decided to just use Stihl oil. Never have any problems with my saws. I leave fuel in them all year long. When my parts man told me it was the ethanol that was ruining the parts he sells me, I decided it was the fact that he sells me the cheapest junk he can mark up the highest.

    I go to NAPA and get a lot of parts. Rubber parts such as vacuum caps, fuel lines, diaphragms and such. Guy behind the counter always blames it on ethanol. Funny thing is that my old junk has never seen any ethanol.
