You have to pace yourself! Same thing happens with cherries. They call them Flathead cherries. They dont grow here, but a simple drive through the Blackfeet reservation will yeild gallons of cherries. All the indian kids sell them for pennies on the side of the road. They are so good, you can...

You can pick all you want in these parts. Finally! Something I have that youse guys that live in nicer climates dont have! I was starting to wonder why anyone would live up here! My crabapple tree is fooked though. It is in full bloom right now, about two weeks early. The wild bees are not...

It was Grandpa's. He liked to garden, vegetables anyway. Asparagus grows like a weed here. Ditch banks and next to the river. My favorite bar used to put on an asparagus fry every year. Just go down to the valley and pick a 5 gallon bucket!

Got the onions in the ground. Reds, yellows and whites. My garlic I bought was all dried up, so I put it in a pile and buried it.:|: I can just go to the grocery store and buy some garlic to break up and plant right? Any garlic mechanics in the House?

I love seeing pictures of your yard and garden Mick, a real work of art. Wonderful. Asparagus is tricky, we are not often successful in planting or transplanting up here, but it grows like a weed on the river banks. I have a nice little bed that Grandpa planted about thirty years ago...

Ahh......June. What a time! Thats cool Joel. My wife got banned from the garden last year. Her and the boy kept trampling all my plants. I might have called her a buffalo during a moment of weakness. She has a good sense of humor thankfully.
