How often does one have to do this with these 201 mtronic's? Sounds like it can get complicated...

I just didn't want to do the" shoulda coulda woulda " thing later..that's why I got two second generations..the m-tronics are available here now...kinda crazy, but even the dealers here aren't crazy about them...only time will tell..maybe I'll add one later.

Main tech at Stihl told me if I could grab a factory revised 201t..grab it. So I grabbed two. The 2nd gen 201t is supposed to be a great saw, nothing like the first gen.

I think Cory may have mis read my previous post....I said the 201t is not being produced , but the mtronic 201t has taken its place..

No..they are only producing the 201t c-e from what Stihl has told me. Also,,,all the dealers around me are only getting the m-tronic version. That's why I grabbed the last two 2nd gen 201t's in my area. When they're gone, they're gone.

Do any of you wish you would have bought the factory revised 201t before the 201t c-e has taken over the market place?
