    Ram 5500 or F550???

Interesting comparison. Not surprised the Cummins produced more, as a percentage of rated torque, than the others, as the Cummins has always been rated using a different specification than the other two. In the long run, I don't think 20 or 30 ft-lbs means crap when you are comparing trucks...

    Ram 5500 or F550???

The 6.7 Ford, and I've heard some Duramax's, are prone to fuel system failure due to water in the fuel, and then Ford and GM void your warranty to the tune of 17k or something like that. Total BS, as only an inferior filter system would let the water in in the first place. 98.5-02 Cummins used...

    Ram 5500 or F550???

A previously mentioned Ford guy just bought himself a shiny new Cummins 3500 stick and is selling his fairly new Ford. No problems yet, just wants it gone before it does something bad. For the people running theFord 6.7, isee you can buy an aftermarket fuel filter that is supposed to prevent...

    Ram 5500 or F550???

Resale value will be where you get your investment back. Fuel economy, reliability (maybe not so much anymore?), and towing capacity/ability is the return on the investment.

    Ram 5500 or F550???

I sent this picture of my buddies shop to a die hard Ford guy, and a member here. His reply:"At least that '08-'10 Ford was put out of it's misery.":O I'm not trying to ruffle any feathers, but for every Cummins problem there are five Duramax problems and 40 Powerstroke problems.

    Ram 5500 or F550???

The Cummins has always been the most reliable of the three light truck diesels. I know some don't want to admit that, but the evidence is overwhelming. The only bad thing I've heard about the new Powerstroke is that the fuel systems go South on you and Ford sticks you with the whole $17k bill...
