I don't use that touch up tool.... It changes that nice machined edge too much. I just keep 4 sets handy. Change the blades when it needs it. Easier for the machinist to sharpen and balance them as well.
While you are in there, check the condition of your anvil as well. I can have mine re ground. Stehanson used to hard face them his self and hand grind. I bought a new one once I saw how worn the one in the machine was. Then took it to the machinist that grinds my knives for me. He was able to...
Smoking deal.
I was looking at the 90-95s when I was offered the deal on the 1250 from Stehanson. It was too good of a deal to refuse. I was probably going to drop around 12k for more hours than you got on that one.
