Done that with a porty and some stable braid... Had to lower the truck and chipper so we could ease into a pull out to get back down the hill front ways... Wish I had brought a camera

I will, in some cases, leave small dead wood for birds... They use it for roosting and nesting. But I live in the woods where trees are more one of millions. Depends on the client as well.

Nick, I see where you don't have the freedom to prune as you could with Davey. They are catering to certain clientele and their wishes. Someone like me, I can do more I feel is better left for the health of the tree and less is more in a lot of cases. I think that one came out nice. Just saying.

Soft link.. no cable core as well, saw and knife handy. But like I said... if the tree is that sketchy.. I probably wont lanyard in if I have a high safe TIP above my work. As was stated by Chris, valid concern. You have a point... But I'll work how I feel safer.. Thanks....

I can become unattached.. or I don't lanyard in. Worse than that... they need a crane.

Nice vid. And I too will readily tie in to a nice healthy high TIP in a neighboring tree to get the job done. High line a few here and there from time to time as well. Live in the forest, might as well use what mother nature provides.

Really like how that tree came out... Like what butch said. Good work Jaimie. I think you have a knack for shaping them too. Something I wish I was better at.

It's on my list, but just not possible yet. Have to focus all funds into the bank at the moment. Build up more reserves now that the renters are gone.
