Al, at one restaurant I worked at they would occasionally add a type of smoked fish as a special. We had a good sized wok station. We would put the hickory chips in the bottom of the wok and then a little round like grill that would suspend the fish just above it....

I used to really enjoy orange wood as well. Had a never ending supply of that when I was just out of high school and renting a guest house at my Grandma's Orange orchard :) Sure made for a good steak. Has to be really really dry though.
I think Willie and I know I would most certainly agree with your dad Paul. Should go prune that old apple down at the shack in January for next year to have on hand next to my BBQ pit.

150 for pine
cedar I can get 175-200 on occasion.
I run a pretty heavy cord also.
about 10 percent over.
Orrrrrr If you are paid to take it down... remove it/dispose of it... it is almost as good as moving it once. :)

Had not seen the others previously.. Just thought it was a kick. DR laying it out like it is a new thing LOL.
Anyway... I am not one to lift every piece of wood up to split it.
