I live in a predominantly retiree community. 14-16". Sometimes 12 and granny split as well... (no bigger than 4X4 widths).

I used to really enjoy orange wood as well. Had a never ending supply of that when I was just out of high school and renting a guest house at my Grandma's Orange orchard :) Sure made for a good steak. Has to be really really dry though.

LMAO We been getting 225 for oak split and del. 150 for pine cedar I can get 175-200 on occasion. I run a pretty heavy cord also. about 10 percent over.

I prefer to figure it as a rainy day fund. :D That and free heat for sweat equity :)

Orrrrrr If you are paid to take it down... remove it/dispose of it... it is almost as good as moving it once. :) Hard life doing firewood for a living.
