I had the same assumption Brian. Looked like a pretty narrow street with limited access to me.
I would hate to think what permitting would cost us State side to bring a chopper into a neighborhood though:\:
Don't get me wrong, I can see where one might have to implement a 'copter and I would do it if I had to. But I would still prefer rigging or a crane. And granted I have yet to work a crane job. I do think there would be a more gentle touch with the right crane operator from what I have observed.
Hire a bigger chopper and take the tree in two.. LMAO... Charge up the arse and move onto the next tree... or go play at the pub for the rest of the day ;)
Looked real "dodgy" to me also... Almost looked like that, I think, second pick could have hit the climber good. Let alone the downward hanging boughs. I don't think I would want to work in all that down draft and chopper noise either. Thanks but no thanks. Cool video though :)
