I spent 4 hours in my Bashlins. 2 days ago. New to me. But used. I put new tree gaffs on and made all new straps. I really like them. The wider gaffs don't sink in quite as ]deep on the younger cottonwoods as my Kline's do. And they are nice and light.
I'm real familiar with back pain. Tho. The older I get the less my back hurts. . An Ostiopath told me that if a person has strong arms and tight hamstrings that they will most likely have back problems. . We have 2 of most ofthe important parts. But only 1 spine.
I would recommend a spinrocracker before I'de be getting any muscles paralized. Those muscles in side there are there for a good reason

One thing I really like about the Kask arb helmet. I've found that if I lean the front of it against the tree and push with my head a little I can drain about a shot glass of sweat right down the tree. I do that 6-8 times a day...
Can't stand smoking , what a welfare system. . Non smokers are workin while smokers are takin a smoke break. . Being a logger and a faller I chew. . Can't burn anything down and don't have to stop working. I've found it was the only way to teach new groundies to stay clear of the danger...
I think I'll just stick with Kline's they work as good at sticking thick bark as the 3 1/2" Buckingham's do but are far far more comfortable for me.
But. I have been thinking about the Adkins diet.. I get a moose and a caribou this fall and I'll prolly try it.
Except they are for skinny guys. Not everyone that works in trees is built like a long distance runner.
Was it Not possible for them to make them with a 300 lb weight rating 150 kg.
